Nathan Slusher is the Executive Director of the School of Foreign Service Career Center at Georgetown. He guides an eight-person team with expertise in student development, career coaching, international affairs industry trends, and employer and alumni engagement, in providing SFS students and alumni with advice, counsel, and resources to achieve their career goals. Before coming to Georgetown, Nathan was the Director of Career Education and Outreach in American University’s Career Center, where he chaired the DEI committee and led teams responsible for career advising, career education programs, and marketing and communications. He oversaw employer relations, alumni engagement, graduation outcomes data collection, and student employment when he served as Director of Outreach and Marketing in the same office. Nathan previously worked in academic advising for ten years serving international affairs students at AU’s School of International Service and the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. A native Buckeye, he holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University.
